Masjid-e-Umar, Cardiff members strive to ensure the Masjid runs efficiently on a day-to-day basis. the members are working hard everyday to ensure the Masjid is a safe, happy, fun, and enjoyable environment for worshippers, students, children and the general public.
At present, there are four committee members who ensure the Masjid is kept clean, tidy and maintained properly for the worshippers to pray in.

Masjid-e-Umar employs two Imaams full time. Our Imaams follow the teachings of Imaam Abu Hanifa (Ra). They are highly qualified and have graduated from prestigious Madrassahs where they have studied the Aalim course.

Masjid-e-Umar Maktab employs teachers to teach children how to read the Quraan with tajweed. The Shuyukh also teach basic Fiqh, Masnoon Dua's, Seerah of Rasool Allah (SAW) and stories of the Sahabah of Rasool Allah (SAW).

Masjid-e-Umar is run on yearly membership and all paid members are given an advantage over non-paid members. This ensures that those who pay yearly membership fees have first priority on bookings and are notified of any consultations or meetings held at the Masjid.
Paid Members can use the Masjid facilities for events and functions for free whereas those who do not pay the annual membership fee are billed for any events or functions they may want to hold at the Masjid. Any member who wishes to place his/her child in Masjid-e-Umar Maktab will pay less monthly fees compared to the monthly fees of a non-member's child.
The membership fee is £75 which should be paid annually every year. The Management Committee requests that the fee is paid during the month of Ramadhan.
